OUR PLANNING PROCESS typically is compressed to an intensive four to five day charrette or workshop. This allows our team to gather on or near the site to walk with the client and stakeholders through planning process and present preliminary design ideas and conceptual alternatives, in order to quickly obtain feedback. At the end of this workshop, a preliminary master plan will be presented for the client’s consideration. If feedback is received, our team will make adjustments and resubmit a Final Master Plan.

If of course, a client cannot commit to the workshop approach, we can make recommendations for a stakeholder steering committee to meet with our team over a period of weeks to provide feedback at certain milestones during the planning process. The result of those two to three meetings should be a Final Master Plan.

At the culmination of either scenario, if the client authorizes a report to be done, CPLA can develop a campus plan report with all of the material and sketches presented in a booklet format.
